Saturday there is this market in Boise and like every market, it is a place where you want to be. It mostly is a representation of the area’s goods and foods and that is just what we need: a compact way to meet Idaho. So here we are, trying some wine (Merlot, Riesling, Cabernet,…), dried fruits (where spicy apple was surprising), some different sauces,… We buy some olive bread and very strange brains-like looking mushrooms (with typical deep forest taste) for dinner. There were much more things to try, impossible to name them all. Later on the day we work a bit more on our posts for this blog, walk along the riverside fantasizing about living in such nice neighborhood. At time at home for our aperitif with Diane and to start the evening early so that there is plenty time for good laughs.
And then just before going asleep there is this 1000 pieces puzzle Diane is working on. We always tried to put one more piece every time we pass by but this evening there is a competition going on between Gio and me…Before we realize we almost finished the puzzle! Sorry for that Diane!!!
P.D. for Cindy: Now I also understand the power of a puzzle! So no more laughing…and one day I’ll buy you a puzzle to make up! 😉
